Assuming Gretna go under over the next couple of weeks, and all points
are removed that have been garnered against them, then Rangers will
loose nine points and Celtic six. Therefore Celtic go top of the SPL.
Obviously this is all if and buts....but if Gretna go bust and Celtic
go top of the league, do Rangers only have one extra game to play or
is it two?

Not sure how it works, however two things id say on the subject is firstly i
hope gretna dont go bust as they worked bloody hard to get into the spl and
to work hard and earn a place in the top flight only to have it destroyed by
economics is a great shame.Secondly and this may sound strange but rather
the points stayed the way they are with regard to playing gretna than
possibly winning the league by a point due to deductions etc.I truly want
celtic to win as always the league but want it won the right way and thats
on the pitch, not through off field goings on.

Just seen this on the BBC site....
"All points from games involving the bottom club would be taken out of the
reckoning. Dundee United, who have lost twice to Gretna, would be the main
beneficiaries.Celtic, who are three points behind league leaders Rangers,
would move top of the table on goal difference. However, Rangers would have
two games in hand rather than the one they have at present. "
