Mike - Stone Staffordshire

Hi

I'm still trying to find Mike Sandham who usually is around the Stone
Staffordshire area.
He had a narrowboat called "tadpole" but I think he has a larger
vessel now?

I used to work at Instem Electronics with him and haven't seen him
around for a while
does anyone on here know him?

Thanks

James

Someone had last night - there was a long streak of brown where someone
had parked their bum against the vestry wall before letting go.

I wondered who'd turned out to help Tony down. Unfortunately I didn't
return from the Lakes until Saturday pm, and then had stuff to do for
yesterdays services.... Incidentally, as I passed over Britannia Bridge
at 4.30pm last evening, a BW work boat was just locking down. Must be an
urgent job on.

I volunteered. It was great fun. The flight was looking very attractive,
especially in the autumn sunshine. A couple of the anti-vandal locks
wouldn't unlock and there are a couple of locks with a serious amount of
water leaking around the bottom gates through the lock sides, but all
went smoothly and we were soon sampling the beer at Dover Lock.

Somebody wants to use one of my images for a new website to contradict
the belief that the Scholes Birkett Bank area is "run down and not very
attractive", as they felt that my picture "is a beautiful representation
of the hidden side to this area". Well, it's not that well hidden - you
just have to get off the road and wander along the canal towpath. The
two scallies on a motor bike seemed to manage to do that:

Perhaps I should send them that photo instead?
