I can't get my newsgroup on outlook to work anymore. After receiving
message from virgin that they were closing the ntlworld version, they
gave new address to log to. But I can't get it work.
news.virginmedia.com
Any ideas what to do? I'm sorry is off target but trying to find info
via virgin is a joke. They haven't even bothered to update their
webpage, and I'm too tight to pay the rip off phone charges.
thanks
Amanda

Have you by any chance switched to Vista? I had this problem to start with
when I did so - you will need to use Windows Mail or another newsreader.

From another newsgroup, where someone has experienced similar
problems:

Their live chat support is worth trying, cheaper (free) than phoning
them and more immediate than email.
I changed the news server name the other day and it worked fine
(thunderbird newsreader).
