Sort of, the groundsheet has a slit in it, so can be folded back to
"cut
pieces out the pie", if you like, therefore the rain falls on to the
ground
rather than the groundsheet. Though the entrance will then get muddy,
and the buggers don't always take their boots off on the ground and
step
onto the clean groundsheet.

I would say it's no worse than a patrol tent in this respect.
