Just back from Explorers.
They fancied being Beavers for a night and so we arranged for the Beaver
leaders to run a beaver night for them.
Beaver yell.
Busy Beaver first game.
Traffic lights game
Biscuit decoration.
Finger painting.
Colouring in.
Circle cricket.

Apparently it was the best night they had for ages.

Oh deary me.

  Flag

With apologies to those of you who don't do ceremonies.

Every Group that I have ever had dealings with flies a Union Flag at
camp and in the hall. In one of my idle moments the other day I
wondered if Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish Groups fly the Union
Flag or their own country flag.

Just idle curiosity.

apropos of nothing much at all

Just now, whilst thinking of nothing much at all - sunshine - garden
chair - glass of wine. I pondered on the regulars on this ng.

I started wondering if there's some sort of pattern? The length of time
we've seen the same names; the careful and helpful responses given when
someone needs help; the descriptions of activities which seems to
indicate that there's more than a few youngsters who've been getting
good solid Scouting; the fact that more than a few work or have worked
in IT; I know there's a fair number of Terry Pratchett fans; and quite
a few have got a guitar tucked away somewhere.

Okay, what are we all doing wrong ;^)
