Somebody at the Scouts has (it seems) done an excellent job working
with the Jack Petchey Foundation.

they are working increasingly closely with the scouts. I applied to
them for money for a Kandersteg trip and was given £4,950 in return.
They are v easy to talk to, v helpful, and v generous.

So... clap clap clap and three cheers to whoever created the close
links between scouting and petchey and HOO RAR! for Petchey for giving
us lots of lovely money to do cool stuff with with.

On a personal level, it makes me feel rather good to write to a
professional body with my program, budget, etc etc and be told yes, I
am doing it right and here is 5 grand to prove it.
