All,
I have the following Scouting resources that I no longer require which
are free to a good home:
3 * Programme Ideas to Celebrate Queen's Golden Jubilee 2002 in plastic
wallets
1 * Adult's Personal File (Printed 2003, no updates) in black WHSmith
ring-binder
1 * Urban Outdoors Programme Ideas Volume 1 in black WHSmith ring-binder
1 * Explorer Scout/Network Navigator, inc. CD-ROM (Printed 2002, no
updates) in original binder
1 * Nights Away (Printed 2002, no updates) in original binder.
If you are interested please contact me directly as I don't check the
group too often - It would be great if they could go to a skip in need
that can get good use of them, rather than in the skip!!
Visit http://tinyurl.com/43ax96 to discover my e-mail address to contact
me (sorry...I have far too much spam to deal with!)
Ed

We were out looking at new tents today and on the way back I asked the two
ES if they wanted to stop off somewhere to get something to eat as I was
hungry.
Neither wanted Burger King, McD or KFC, as apparently I might as well put
1KG of lard on an intravenous drip so we went to a well know sandwich chain.
14 types of sandwich but they all had salad or sweetcorn. I find both
indigestible so I asked if they did one without but apparently that would be
a special and not available after 4PM on Saturday
The kids ended up in boots with a £3 "meal deal" each, again all sandwiches
only had salad or sweetcorn and I ate 4 scotch eggs from the garage, as once
again their sandwiches only had... yada yada yada
I am an IBS sufferer and instinctively I have know for years that "healthy
food" such as wholemeal bread lots of fruit and salad make it worse, and now
research is confirming that its not just me but for many sufferers it is
better to avoid so called "healthy" options completely.
You try telling anybody that, especially kids, and look at you as if you are
a leper, is it me or are the food Nazis taking over?
