As a private organisation, the Scouts can reject atheists if they so
choos
--but then, they must not be allowed to use any public services
such as school halls for their meetings, nor may they receive any
public funding. As this would probably end scouting for financial
reasons, the admission of Brights and other rational thinkers is the
only sensible thing to do.
