Hey I found some pretty funny videos on
Revver.com  ; The link is :   href="http://one.revver.com/find/user/AltimitHacker">http://one.revver.com/find/user/AltimitHacker

My
favorite video by far is this one   href="http://one.revver.com/find/user/AltimitHacker#_show_video_97897">http://one.revver.com/find/user/AltimitHacker#_show_video_97897
I think you should watch that one first, because the others arent nearly as
good.

  Getting discouraged

Author: Alan Dicey
Date: Dec 2, 2006 10:00

I have been helping out, filling an ASL-like role with my son's troop
for the past 15 months. I am one of three adults attending every week,
I have been involved in planning the program from the start, I have
attended every camp in a leadership capacity.

I offered my services in June 2005, filled in a CRB form and sent it in.
It was lost, as was the next one. I finally got CRB clearance in
December 2005.

I was given an AA form in June 2006. Filling this in seems to have
started something, as the LTM contacted me, I got the Adults Personal
File and attended a Getting Started course in July. (since then I have
done every module except 7 and 15)

I was assigned a TA in August. We eventually met for the first time in
November. He has not yet validated any of my training. He wants to see
me in action at a troop night(quite reasonable), and the next one he can
attend is in January, as his work conflicts with our meeting nights.

I have not even a Provisional appointment (which I should have had in
December 05, I think). I am not permitted to wear uniform badges or a
neckerchief. I am not a member of the Scout Movement, not a real ASL,
just some guy who turns up every week dressed like some sort of Tenderfoot.

I made the pattern from a "Real parachute"which someone loaned me just
for that purpose.... which I adapted and reduced in size...(It was
massive) as you can imagine...I often use the stuff they use to line
Jackets, it is amazingly strong.

Please don't do that.

I don't know! You might actually be only 3 or 4 roads away from me.

It's a long story! Okay so you don't know my name but a name's just a name
and it's not hard to work out from my posts the person behind the name and
that's often more important than a name. GAGS is good enough for most people
and I would hope that it's good enough for you.

You could go to
http://guidinguk.freeservers.com/ and look through the site...you will
find a ready made pattern for a Parachute with Instructions.
I have made quite a few of them and they are very easy to make.
