This newsgroup seems to have officially died. I blame greedy ISP's from
dropping their free newsreader clients and not enough people having the
persistence to find other ones... or to even know about them IMHO.

What say everyone else? And yes, CB does seem to have died in many places of

I am thinking of getting back on air. Have there been any changes in UK
CB, new frequencies, more power etc? What's the best rig? I've been
looking at the following on ebay: Midland 48, Midland 98, Maycom EM27.
Are they much the same performance wise? what about ones like the TTI
TCB-660 that have more frequencies, is it legal to use in the UK?
