Well, would you or wouldn’t you? Take all your clothes off to sunbathe
on the beach here in Tenerife or swim in the nude in the sea, that is?

Many of you will instantly say “yes, absolutely no problem” whilst
others, regardless of your age, will find the whole idea totally
unacceptable.

So, should nudism be for all or just for the privacy of your own home,
rooftop, balcony or garden?

Debate is once again raging across Spain following the annual Día Sin
Bañador or day without bathing costumes. The aim wasn’t to call on the
government to ban nudism on Spain ’s beaches but to actually encourage
it. What the campaigners want is for nudism beaches to be banned. They
simply want nudism to be allowed on any beach, anywhere in Spain , and
totally unsegregated. That means nude sunbathers mixing with the
mortals who prefer to keep even a little bit covered up.

Holiday resorts in Spain to get nudist beaches?

Hi

Today we took our first steps into naturism with a trip to Studland.
Nice beach and generally a good experience apart from the large number
of men constantly walking past. My wife and I went nude from the start
and our 11 year old daughter was relativey comfortable naked after a
couple of hours. Alas our son (8) was having none of it and kept his
shorts firmly on. Our eldest daughter (13) had other plans today but
said she would come along next time and sounded well up for getting
naked so all quite positive really.

Ok so background into done with. Now for my questions. The men at
Studland. Is there any advice anyone can give so we can avoid such
things? Go into the dunes more? Go to the shore? Stay close to other
families? And on a related topic. Families. We didnt see that many
other families with children apart from very young kids. Is this
normal for naturism in general or just Studland? My worry is that our
eldest is going to feel out of place and not want to join in. We have
also got into this late in the season. What are the options for off
season naturist holidays?
