I'll see your side stand incident and raise you a tie-down. At a garage in
Germany I'd just filled up and decided to check my luggage/tent were secure
so I pulled like fuck on the straps and got "assistance" from a blast of
wind (f'narr) which helped lift the bike *off* the side stand and onto its
right hand side, resulting in a bike lying horizontally and feeling sorry
for iteslf.
Fortunately a German bikey bloke gave me a lift to pick the fucking thing
up.
