If you had a dream bike made, what are the 2 modifications you'd most want on it ?

If money wasn't a limitation and someone built you your dream bike
(be it a road or dirt based based one), what are the two dream
modifications you'd most want the bike to have.

You can't just say no needs for mods, I'll take this dream brand of
bike.

  British Army motorcycle safety video

Short but quite hard hitting

fety.htm

Why are British troops twice as likely to die on a bike than civvies?

I was down the pub with Buster Bloodvessel from Bad Manners the other
night. He's just a regular fat bloke.

  One flat battery...

...and I still couldn't get the throtles on the Guzzi to balance until
half an hour ago.

Basically this evening, I did the valve clearances, warmed the engine,
then tried to balance the throttles only to run out of fine adjustment
on the air screw. This meant I had to resort to taking the sidepanels,
seat, tank and airbox off to get at the coarse adjuster, which is a
very fiddly locking screw that lets one manually swivel the LH
butterfly, then measuring vacuum on the starter motor. I just couldn't
get the throttles to balance, with all sorts of erratic, inconsistent
readings.

After a break for dinner, I had one last shot, and found that the
ruddy LH vac gauge hose was kinked...

Stop bike thieves cold with a visual deterrent!

The Mini Grip is a small, lightweight, portable anti-theft wheel lock for
Scooters or Motorcycles. Made from tube steel, it weighs only 2.5 lbs.

It only takes two seconds to install thanks to its design and seven pin push
lock. With its yellow powder coated surface it acts as a visual deterrent.

It is designed to fit around the wheel of any Scooter, Motorcycle or Dirt
Bike.

OT: PC turning on by itself

Author: BGN
Date: Jul 23, 2008 12:38

I hadn't noticed before, as this (Desktop running Vista Home Premium)
PC was always on, but as I'm in 'energy saving' (money saving on lecky
bill) mode I have the PC hibernating (dumps RAM to disk, turns off -
quicker resume as not a full boot) or shut down properly most of the
time now but it keeps turning itself on.

I turned it off at night a few nights ago and when I got up in the
morning it was turned on, so I turned off the BIOS "power state on
power cut" style option from "on" (it would turn on after a power cut)
to "off" meaning that if I unplugged it from the wall and plugged it
in after a second or two the BIOS would terminate the power. The day
went by and I turned it off when I'd finished with it (proper full
shut down)

The next morning it was on again. I fiddled with a few other options
in the BIOS, told Windows Update to check for updates at 10pm and
powered it off at 9:55pm and went to bed. It didn't wake up by 11pm
as I was still watching telly alone (sigh) in bed again.
