Are the new Central Europe v7.20 maps a big improvement on the old ones (for
GB)? What time span difference is there between the new and the old versions
(i.e. when were the old version maps compiled and when the new, does anyone
know?)
Is the GB map only an updated version? Don't really fancy paying 60 quid to
find little or no improvement

Why do your posts appear as orphans instead of being appended to the OP?
the post I am replying to now has the subject line

Phew! You can see ear as the first 3 letters? Great - that's part of the early rhubarb nonsense
that I can see. Not any of my real addresses.

Er, you can see both of my addresses? Um, that's worrying - I can't see anything in the various header
material I get in my app'.
What are the first three letters of them both please? Just so's I can see what you mean.
I'm missing something here!
I take your point about some providers.

So did you see a lake near Witten? Or look it up on internet maps to see if
there's an alternative name/spelling? Do either devices offer approximations
like M$ Autoroute Europe 2002 is offering me (all over the world!). (It does
find a Haus Kemnade in a road of that name that crosses the Ruhr near a
bulge that might be a lake. But the bulge is not named.
