BNP man to be shunned in London assembly

Author: St Georges Day April 23rd

The British National Party's sole member of the London Assembly will
become a "pariah" as the major parties agree to shun him. As he
launched into a victory speech at City Hall early yesterday, other
politicians left the stage in protest.

  Spraying metalics

Author: James

Righto folk,

I'vew got a daily banger I drive not to fussed about it, had a damaged front
bumper when I bought it and came across one for cheapish. Needs a bit of
prep and painting but would look better than what I have on the car as is.

Not looking for a profession top notch finish just something a bit better
than I have which is bubbled, flaked, broke and dented (not by me) ... part
of why I got it cheap.

So basically looking for some adviseo n spraying it up.

Have prepped it, all rubbed down, smalls bits filled with isopon and rubbed
down. I read a few guides one says to spray it thinly with filler primer ?
one guide says use plastic primer and rub down between coats with fine gras
wet and dry ?

Question is about the metalic side of things, once I put a good 4/6 coats of
this stuff on. When do I but the clear on ? a few guides says when its
almost dry, some say whens it completly dry ?

Just a bit of info needed. I know it will never in a million years looks
showroom finish using rattle cans, but its cheap and cheerful is my goal.
Yes I know a bodyshop can do it for

Anyone used this firm to buy a salvage car from ?

I've seen a honda they have on a CAT C and was thinking of having a go
at fixing its problems. Obviously would get friend mechanic to check it
out first before I enter in a monkey pit of a project.

I've heard the name about just wondering if they are have a good
reputation as a company ?

Thanks

They have made it into a Wagon, 2 door station wagon that is.
Or is it a 2 door Estate (like some Escorts were).
Suppose it's a hatchback by today's way of thinking.

It most definitely isn't a fastback or liftback like the last one or
even the Probe or the Cougar were.

Used Car - AC not working - Garage says not covered by warranty

Author: paulfoel

Bought a car from a Ford dealer last week (it was actually a Fiat).
Discovered after a day or two that the AC was not working at all.

I phoned them and they said they're 3 month warranty does not cover
air con problems and that it is hard luck.

My argument is that its not a defect that has arisen, and that it
appears the AC never worked when I purchased the car (yes, I know I
should have checked). Also, since the car was advertised as with
aircon, then surely it right to expect it to be in working order.

Any idea how I stand legally?

Both headlights have failed at the same time - Is it just the bulbs or could it be something else?

Author: jgkgolf

I have a ford focus estate 02 reg which I bought 2 years ago and has
been problem free apart from a number of light bulbs blowing. Now both
headlights have gone at the same time , is this just coincidence or
could it be something else?
I haven't taken them out yet to examine, can you tell if a headlight
bulb has blown just by looking at it?
