HI all

(I already posted to rec.aviation.student but I think that is more US
based?)

I'm thinking about learning to fly and have spent ages searching the
web for recommendations. I live in Switzerland but will be learning
in the UK while staying with friends in Dagenham, Essex.

I've seen lots of old posts about Cabair being good but expensive;
Rochester or Biggin hill would be reasonably close enough to me. I've
also seen good recommendations for the london transport school.

Does anyone have good and recent recommendations for good schools and
locations in London and the South east for learning (JAR/PPL)?
