I have a Delco cdr500 in my car, have a manual with it , but not the right one.
Anybody knows how to choose random play on the cd player.
It should be possible , just can't fid it.

Hello all,

I have bought a pair of Alpine Type E speakers to put in my Rover 25,
and being the newcomer to car audio that I am, I find that though on
the box it says they are compatible with my Rover, they in fact are
not compatible with the adapter that plugged onto the old speakers

I can best show this in a diagram:

I hope this helps to make sense of my problem, basically I need to
know if and where I can get an adapter so that these Alpine speakers
will fit into my Rover.

Failing that does anyone think this might be a soldering jobbie?

A couple of weeks ago I bought a Sony Ericssson car kit from someone I
know.
First time I connected it up it worked for 10 minutes then when I turned the
car off and restarted it - nothing.

Thinking I might have pulled a wire loose somehow I removed the whole thing
and retested it and it's been refusing to play nicely ever since.

To power it , there are three wires - Black for earth - Red for permanent
12v and Blue for ignition sense that needs to be connected to a switched 12v
supply.

I reconnected the power wires to the fuse box (once fuse for switched 12v
and another for permanent 12v plus a handy earth) and checked that I was
getting the correct voltages at the connector where it goes into the car
kit.

Plugged it together , switched on the ignition and nothing happened - no
signs of life. Rechecked everything - definitely getting 12v at the
connector where it goes into the car kit but it won't work.

Does anyone have Clarion PU-2294B(D) user manual? or Can anyone tell me
how to de-activate security code request?

P.S I know the security code of my system. But I don't want it to keep
on asking code whenever I switch it on..it is getting really annoying.
