in Cairo with Youssef Mahmoud after the Arab Foreign Minister meeting
ended . . . .

"We welcome the [Lebanese] Army Command [General Suleiman's] statement on
[reinstating] the [the Hezbollah-connected] head of [Beirut] airport
security and [halting moves against Hezbollah's Lebanon-wide fiber-optic
military command, control and communication] network, and welcome the
[Lebanese] government's cooperation with the statement [capitulation] . . . .
And "There is one consensus candidate for [the Lebanese] presidency, and
that is [Army Commander] General Michel Suleiman . . . the sooner the
better."
Lebanon has now been betrayed by Hezbollah, the UN and the Arab League in
succession.
