I agree with Ann's assessment. In fact I said so in a blog many weeks ago.
Bush, as Ann points out, has succeeded in making America free from Muslim
(mainly al Qaeda) for seven years. Economically his tax cuts have worked
very well. . Bush has made some mistakes, but these have been on the
"liberal" not the right-wing side. His invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq,
two radical Muslim strongholds, have been brilliant. Clearly, in retrospect,
they were the right things to do.
