Have you ever heard of a more misguided supreme court, voting to allow
people to own guns, just cause the framers of the constitution said
they needed a militia, and for that purpose, home owners could keep a
weapon/weapons for use for the purposes of fighting in the militia to
defend the district, town, state, or whatever. That's the most absurd
stuff.
The 'intelligent' framers never expected to see a military like the
one we've got today. If they had, they would delete that stuff from
the constitution, since there is no need for people to own guns,...

A new version of Gun Facts is now available, both as a free e-book and
as a printed version.
Gun Facts debunks all common gun control myths. Organized by gun
control myths and with over 480 detailed citations, firearm policy
wonks can rapidly refute the Brady Campaign, the Violence Policy
Center, the Legal Community Against Violence, and other cauldrons of
canards.
Gun Facts 5.0 has 94 packed pages of information. Gun Facts is grouped
into chapters on common gun control topics (assault weapons, ballistic
finger printing, firearm availability, international, etc.) which make
finding usable information quick and easy. The detailed table of
contents reduces searching, and being an e-book, Gun Facts can be
keyword searched as well.

Neutriinojen oskillaatio pelastikin päivänpaisteen aivan hiljattain. Jo
jotakin. Kesällä 2001 kanadalaiset fyysikot ilmoittivat havainneensa, että
Auringon elektronin neutriinot muuttuvat muiksi, vaikeammin havaittaviksi
neutriinoiksi. Siksi elektronien neutriinoja siis rekisteröitiin odotettua
vähemmän. Yli 30-vuotinen mysteeri ratkesi. Kayserin mukaan Auringon
neutriinojen oskillaatiosta kertynyt näyttö on vahva, ja seminaarin neljä
muuta esitelmöijää ovat samaa mieltä. Löytö on niin merkittävä, että...

POSTED: 11:05 pm EDT June 9, 2008
UPDATED: 12:19 pm EDT June 10, 2008
BALTIMORE -- Police continued Tuesday to investigate after a 2-year-old boy and
3-year-old girl playing in a small swimming pool were injured by stray bullets
Monday night.
Officers were called out to the 2400 block of Winchester Street in west
Baltimore at about 10 p.m. Monday.
Rescue workers said that a 2-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl were taken to
Johns Hopkins Children's Center for treatment. The boy was shot in the chest,
and the the girl was shot in the lower right leg.
Their conditions haven't been released by the hospital.
The children were playing in a baby pool in front of their apartment at the time
of the shooting, officers said.
Witnesses said the shooting started up the street, away from where the children
were playing, and that as many as 11 shots were fired.
Investigators have not released further information.
