It sounds like you feel threatened that some people don't believe you
when you struggle with the pain of fibromyalgia? Well as you know, and
I think you do, I have CFS/ME and do you ever go to the CDC site to see
what they say about FMS? I am a member of CFIDS because of my illness
and I have been visiting the CDC to see if they have done any research
what so ever for CFS. Dang I wish they would call it ME!!! I know
the pain you feel and have as I have experience it and it is so awful.
First it was before they knew what I had with 24 hour a day 7 day a
week headaches and myalgias head to toe. Of course back then the
criteria for CFS was only one thing, "YOU must have EB".. Well little
did I know until 2005 I have it, it lies dormant from having mono in
1978. Now however the criteria...

The pain of fibromyalgia is real, and doctors need to take patients'
complaints seriously, concludes a review paper by University of Michigan
Health System doctors.

"It is time for us to move past the rhetoric about whether these conditions
are real, and take these patients seriously as we endeavor to learn more
about the causes and most effective treatments for these disorders," Richard
E. Harris, research investigator in the division of rheumatology, department
of internal medicine at the U-M Medical School and a researcher at the U-M
Health System's Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center, said in a prepared
statement.

| hehe, my g/f is Thai and I don't think drugs and CFS would be a good mix!
| Will sure try to make the most of all that lovely fruit and cheap massages
| though :)

Remember to ask for tradional massage unless you want "extras".

Most Thais can do tradional which is stretching and applying pressure to
certain pionts through the clothes.

At the hairdressers next to yhe hotel I could have a haircut and shave while
another girl does my fingers and toes and the a choice of girls to take
upstairs for a massage plus extras if required, and Thai g/f or wife doesn't
mind as long as she gets hers, but if she's respectable she's taboo during
her period so time to go for a haircut etc. ;-)~
