I caught the tale end of a tv news item last night which seemed to
indicate that patients in Bath could have their anti tnf RA treatment
withdrawn because it is too expensive. Did anybody else catch this on
the regional news ?

More info and opinions ?

I'm not that bad Sandy, and I'm not that much of a glutton for punishment.
If I'm awake early I'll watch it, although it doesn't do my blood pressure
much good lol

I'm very envious of your ability to sleep a lot:)))
I can get off to sleep fairly quickly, but most nights I wake up between 1
and 3am. Then I turn on my pre-set radio quietly and just doze and listen
until I can't stand being in bed any more. Music is the best thing to send
me off again. I don't get pain, more general discomfort, and I have to be ...

Immunoglobulin and hemoglobin levels are inversely related

Author: ironjustice

http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3659/is_199512/ai_n8730552

<>
The human body's protection against infectious agents is in part
determined by the level of circulating antibodies, or the proteins
known as immunoglobulins.
<>
<>
Levels of all three classes of immunoglobulins were found to be
significantly correlated. This suggests that humoral immunity is not
impaired even under acute nutritional stress.
<>

Orrrrr / another scenario .. ?

Increased hemoglobin leads to impaired immunity.
