I don't know why, but deliveries to the Republic cause me more grief
than any other form of international shipping, with the exception of
the US, which is why I don't sell to Americans any more.
Anyway, three items with a total value of over £240 sold on 21 May,
paid three days later, despatched on the 26th recorded, insured and
signed-for and I've just received a phone call from an Irish courier
firm saying they can't deliver because they can't get near the block
(locked behind steel gates or something).
First thought - it's taken a bloody long time, so why didn't the buyer
start asking where the items were.
Anyway, the courier has asked for a phone number for the buyer, which
I have, and I've sent him an email as well and... nothing.
What's the betting the items are going to find their way back to me?
And a PayPal clawback?

Yep, they're not allowing you more than 100 items per month at 99p
free listing rate from the 2nd June!
Whatever happened to free enterprise???
Beat eBay's ever increasing listing fees, go to...
http://www.ebid.net/
..for 'FREE' listings!!!

Well it still counts towards the number next to your star , and a lot of
buyers just glance that way before purchasing , so it does have a little
benefit.
Some people do seem to see getting the feedback as more important than ...

If he is happy to accept a refund then I'd be inclined to go for it.

I believe he means raising a dispute through paypal. They take ages if
one party is not cooperative.
