For several months, I and many others have been moving or duplicating
videos from YouTube on dailymotion.com. This is as a result of
YouTube’s recent policy of over-processing all uploaded videos,
reducing all standard uploads to mono etc.
Following YouTube’s absolute mangling of the sound on my latest upload
– “ITN” – I’ve withdrawn that particular song from their site and
placed it exclusively with Dailymotion. In this way, visitors will get
a higher quality video with stereo sound; in other words, for better
or worse, you’ll hear what I intend!
I’m sorry if this causes any confusion, and am grateful to everyone
who’s been in touch pointing out how the YouTube sound on “ITN”
deteriorated so soon after upload.

Dailymotion, visit http://www.dailymotion.com/TrevMid
Thanks again –
TM

I am trying to kick-start the online side of my business and I'm asking
everyone I can to take a look at the website and if it interests them - then
that's fantastic - but more importantly to let others know about the site.
Maybe you know someone who would like these designs, even if they're not
your cup of tea! If you're interested there's an affiliate program on there
too..
Take a look at http://www.thadiun.net - The sizes go up to XXXL and there
are over 150 styles to choose from - plus there is also the 'cute & cuddly '
site http://www.xsarajayne.com which has hundreds of designs featuring cute
animals, fairies, horses and more.
I run a real-world shop and it has been trading now for a little over two
years -
so you can order online for home delivery or collect in store with
confidence
there's a real store operating behind the website!
Hope you're all well

“Shadows Of The Moon” was the third of a cosmic-type trio of songs
written at the height of the manned space programme back in 1970/71.
The others were “Creation” – the title song from the second Beau
Dandelion album – and “April Meteor”, which also appeared on the
“Creation” set.
This particular recording however is from the “Edge Of The Dark”
sessions, an unreleased collection of over fifty experimental pieces
recorded several years later between 1978 and 1981.

John Trevor had worked with Rochdale band, Tractor in 1971 when he
recorded his “Creation” album for John Peel’s Dandelion label. At that
time, he was Beau and Tractor were The Way We Live. But it was the
same team – John Trevor, Jim Milne, Steve Clayton and John Brierley –
who came together early in 1972 to lay down a fresh collection of JT
songs for a possible new Dandelion album, tentatively titled “High
Mass”. One of those songs was “The Smoke Of Eden”.
In the event, Dandy closed in late ’72, and the album never saw light
of day; but “The Smoke Of Eden” gives a flavour of what could have
been. Enjoy!

Would anyone here in this group have any information on the above?
More Rockabilly than Rock but there doesn't appear to be any active
Rockabilly newsgroups.
thanks
