Much of it by Kylie and especially Robbie of course.
But IMO this track is everything I dislike(d) about Robbie magnified
intensely, this having been the absolute peak of his smugness.
In any case, they weren't far off - it was only U2 who kept them from
entering at the top. The fact that Kylie had issued another single less than
a month before and 'Rock DJ' was still selling probably didn't help them.

Not unbelievable, considering that the lead single from their previous
(studio) album also went Top 10 even though the album ended up flopping.

Because Pedigree Chump from FallOut Boy is singing the Supertramp bit. I
notice that this is being released on 7" vinyl rather than 12", which should
suggest which market they're aiming at.
