Frightened to live in Wales?

Author: Richard Johnson
Date: Aug 12, 2007 12:19

Dear All,

I am a journalist writing a feature for the Sunday Times magazine in London,
looking at the new separatism at work in Britain -- starting with Cornwall
(after the CNLA threats to Jamie Oliver and Rick Stein), and working up to
Wales and Scotland. Have any English users of this forum felt frightened to
live in their adopted land?

If you don't want to reply to the forum, please email me through my
website -- www.rjsj.demon.co.uk

Many thanks

I agree -- there is always suspicion of incomers. But it hasn't ended up in
separatist movements just yet. Although there is talk of a Lakeland
Independence Army.......And, yes, I will try and offer explanation. And,
yes, I will try and verify what they say.

Two people! Surely you jest. Journos print what they want these days.
An element of truth isn't a necessity anymore.
I'm trying to work out if it's the Journos following the Politicians lead
or vice versus

And what about Dewi's first point - the intimidation of locals by immigrants?
