here watching telly and my house (Withington) shook for about 10 seconds. I

Yep it rocked my house for a bit (Northenden)
When I went outside to check my roof for sway a cracker of a shooting star
passed over.
Bet those purchasers of top floor flats in Beecham Towers all shit
themselves

If you shit yourself, you need to post in alt.binaries.fetish.scat
but with regards to the earthquake, it recorded 4.7 in Magnitude. It was
pretty scary, but I did not have any bowel related leakages.

One wall shook a bit, and it has a 6 foot mirror mounted on it that rattled alarmingly.
We live over a railway tunnel so ErIndoors tried to claim it was a big goods train going through, but
no train has ever shaken the house like that. We rarely hear them let alone feel them.
Quick check round the house to make sure it wasn't caused bv something collapsing, and back to
bed.
This was in Walsden, just outside Todmorden.
