I know two chefs very well. Both have been doing the job for over 20
years. Neither consider the job to be stressful. It's just a lot of
specialist organising and unsociable hours.

The chefs we see on the TV have an agenda and an image to drive. Cooking
some food should be no more or less stressful than many other jobs. I do
a lot of cooking at home and i dont find it stressful in the least. If i
transplanted myself to a commercial kitchen I'd imagine that after a
period of adjustment,id be ok with it. Things are only stressful if you
cant do them, there is too much work or you hate your job.
