Gosh! The "war on drugs" has so far failed, so we need to "up the
anti"?
If you reduce the supply, you increase the price, and increase the
ammount crime the addicts have to do, and increase everbodys'
insurance premiums, and increase the burden on taxpayers to supply
the extra police protection required to respond to the increase in
crime!
Sounds like a great plan to me!

Hmmm. The starting point would be diet and exercise I guess, so
what...forced-labour camps for fatties? Minimum sentences for
possession of pork? A shoot-to-kill policy for sugar smugglers?
