Have you tried playing them in VLC? That might work.

You might see something about the image getting logged - check Console.app.

My daughter's iMac (v10.4) is telling her she's changed DVD regions too
many times and now there are DVDs she can't play in it.

Can anyone tell me if there's any way round this - perhaps a preference
file which could be deleted...?

I forgot my headphones. I was listening to podcasts over the speaker -
it sounds just fine! another reason to get this over the ipod touch.

The UPS driver who brought my new battery last week seemed only too
familiar with Apple's battery exchange process, so I guess there must be
quite a lot of it going on lately.
