The usually white or white/pink wires from the cathodes connect to the
inverter vie a small plug. Not a very exciting activity but unplug/plug them
in say 100 times. This clears off any oxides that build up on the plug
contacts that commonly cause an inverter to stop working.
Has worked for me in the past a few times, give it a go.
