wtb Windows XP professional UPGRADE version

-with COA. (I have a COA for the non-upgrade version-would this enable
me to activate an upgrade installation?)

OR, is there a way to do an upgrade from windows 98SE using a non-
upgrade version?)

AFAIK only OEM versions won't let you do an upgrade install, although
upgrading can cause problems best avoided by doing a clean install
anyway. The difference between upgrade version and full retail is that
the upgrade version wants to see a qualifying product, either
already installed or on the installation medium.

Clean install is best, if its a old PC then the majority of drivers would be
on the SP2 OEM CD anyway is it that which concerns you ?
