Yup. But those users who are paying the extra £10 for XP to be
preinstalled instead of having Vista Business are just exercising their
downgrade rights. The install of XP would still require the Vista
license to be present.
As for XP not being supported, well, I'm planning on holding out for
Windows 7. Already got a MacBook Pro as a second machine so if Windows 7
ends up being a sack of crap, I have something else to fall back on. In
the meantime, I'm sticking with XP. Mainstream support isn't retired
until April 2009, so it's fine up to then!
I don't see there'd be a problem with selling the Vista disc that came
with the machine tho, tho the OP was after a license sticker.
