WTB: Laptop, not reflective screen

Date: Dec 18, 2007 11:32

Am looking for a laptop for older relative; with a non-reflective
screen, and dvd & legacy ports if possible, branded model, to replace
battered Thinkpad. To be used for e-mail, word-processing and some
surfing. Can anyone help or suggest a likely source?

Thanks, we saw something very similar in John Lewis, this one's a
Satellite A200-195 with a TruBrite widescreen, it seems well made but
she can't stand the screen which is very sensitive to ambient lighting
and reflects back everything that's not black.

Am now thinking that since she so much prefers the Thinkpad model
without paying over a thousand we're probably looking for a two year old
or so refurbished model. Since Paul's stopped doing them is there anyone
else here?
