Yes, I originally had one of these, I think. It's developed a memory
fault (it's definitely the motherboard and not the RAM) and so needs
replacing.

I really want to stick to a UK source, if possible, and preferably
from someone on UAC.

Agreed. I have an ATX PC with the Ali 5 chipset in, and that is good.
I've used the MVP3 in the past, which was also fine. I didn't know
that the VIA was better, though.
