Yes if your graphics card has S-Video or composite output and your TV
has the corresponding S-video or composite input (either by dedicated
connector or SCART). Why are you asking this question in a group that's
exclusively for advertising computer related products and services?
Hint: "I might want to buy a connector" is not a valid response.

Oi! I was going to offer to sell him one -

I have a Lindy DB9 to Scart converter, but needed to check that I still
had all the cables and the remote control.

I think you just did.

There is that option too, of course, but I didn't think it came under
the category of "connecting lead", being a bit more involved (and also
presumably stopping you from using the monitor at the same time - or
does it have pass-through?).

The simplest way.

You need to have a video out socket next to your monitor socket.

If you have one, you need a s-video cable.

If you don't ,you need to buy a graphics card that has video out, and a
s-video cable.

It does indeed. Although Y DB9 leads usually are OK, as long as they
aren't very long.

I think you mean HD15 - unless it's possible to get video out of your
serial port!
