Hi all,
i`ve got a friend who wants to put 2 USB printers onto his house network
(one of them is a multifunction device, but I don`t think he needs to be
able to scan with it). I`ve had a look but can`t find anything that would
elt him do this in a single box for sensible money. Anyone got any
suggestions?
Thanks!

if the pc with the printer attached is on 24/7 then just share it ?
that's all I do with my multifunction USB jobby and my parallel laser
printer and we print from my sons wired pc and a wireless laptop no
problems at all providing the printer attached pc is switched on

The electricity bill? A small print server uses less than 5W.

They want to avoid leaving a dual core machine D805 machine turned on 24/7 -
the electricty bill would be scary. And buying a cheaper to run PC would
cost a lot more than a few USB/ethernet print servers

Has anyone here used one of these with 2 USb printers connected to a hub -
one of the reviews seems to suggest that this is possible? or has anyone
used one to run a multifunction device over the network - I`d be very
interested myself if they did!
