Hi all,
treated myself to an Advent 4211 laptop, and just want to say it`s a great
piece of kit. I was interested in upgrading the memory and hard-drive, so
emailed PC World technical support a few hours ago to see what they say
about upgrading these items myself. The RAM isn`t under a little flap, it
involves removing the entire bottom of the case to upgrade, ditto for the
hard drive. The advice I got is cut and pasted below:

Firstly I wouldn`t say that 2 hours to reply on a Sunday is a problem, and
secondly it`s a nice sensible attitude. I just wanted to post this
somewhere so that it`d hopefully appear on Google to reassure people :-)
