OT ATI Radeon 9800XT 128mb Replacement advice

I have a 4 year old Medion pc (yes one of the aldi deals) and the graphics
card fan has died, sadly this means it occasionally over heats and shuts
down..

Now, as the machine is ageing, I don't want to spend stupid money on a
graphics card, I do however play Command an conquer generals and Need for
speed most wanted (and a few other games less graphics intense.) so what I
want is a card to replace my ATI Radeon 9800XT.

Sadly I am also currently not in a position to replace this computer
currently..

so can anyone suggest or offer me a replacement card to at least this spec,
(had a look on ebay etc, but theres so many agp cards out there.. I don't
want to lose any performance, but don't mind a small gain!

I did find a card identical to mine on ebay, however its more expensive
than a lot of cards with more memory (256mb) that seem to be a potentially
better buy.

Many thanks in advance for any help and guidance offered.

You could just get one of these:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131150

Replaces the fan, and is silent. I've fitted one recently. Little bit
fiddly, but the job was done in 15 minutes.

Head over to quietpc.com/uk and take a look at what they have on offer
there. There's no reason a failed fan means you have to replace the
entire card.

Arctic Cooling used to sell heatsink/fan replacement packages for about
a tenner.
