Hi all.
Got this NAS drive for sale. It's the 500GB Gigabit Model. Very well
reviewed and seems to be accepted as amongst the best standalone NAS
drives available. In fully working order and under warranty until the
end of November 2008.
It's unboxed but fully working and I'll include a power lead and
gigabit network cable.
Tomshardware.com review here:
Buffalo Technology LinkStation Pro: One Hot NAS!
http://www.tomsguide.com/us/buffalo-linkstation-pro-review,review-794.html
Cheapest I can find it new is around £150, so I'm looking for £100
delivered.
Google won't let me mask my email address, and my ISP doesn't have its
own USENET server, so sadly the reply-to address *is* valid :(
Cheers,
Ben.

Just thought I'd step in at this late point, as I've only just noticed
this banter :)
The Linkstation performance is really really good, and I'm gutted about
selling it as the Time Capsule I've replaced it with is so very very
slow. Even to the internal drive, max write speed is about 5-6M/sec, and
it's supposed to be a GigE unit! Yes the WD is cheaper, but these units
really are that good for what they are. It does have a fan as well,
temperature controlled though so it very rarely ever kicks in.
Palindrome - You should have offered £90! That's what it went for in the
end. I usually figure a little haggle-room into my prices, as I usually
advertise on a couple of forums where the common practice seems to be
offer 50%% of the asking price and go from there :)
Cheers,
Ben.
