I was remanded into custody for my 2004 offence of "attempting to initiate
unwanted contact with a 20 year old female by means of email". I guess they
thought there was a risk that I might commit further offences in light of
the restraining order. When it transpired that I had been hearing voices I
was released to a secure mental health facility where I was treated for
schizophrenia and released some months later, all charges were dropped. The
fact is schizophrenics are mostly dangerous to themselves.

Yes, it could be that the cocaine induced a state of temporary psychosis
which could be seen as a mitigating circumstance and result in admission to
a secure mental health facility, similar thing happened to Gazza a few
months back.
