Box and a card

Date: Nov 21, 2007 19:35

Hi again Odie, the archives suggest that you are the nice kind person I need
to ask to get a foam disk box suitable to RMA a drive to Seagate?

One of my 250s died (some time ago) and my new array is overflowing and I
need a dump drive, itll probably be a little cheaper to find the box and pay
postage than pay for a new 250.

However also you were looking for a 4 port PCI raid card some time ago?
Youve probably got a shedload now but incase you havnt, I have a Promise
TX4000 as a spare, fwo, original box etc.

Please let me know what you want for a box? Postage at least?

Thanks a lot

Although their website does tend to go on about packing in great length
- I haven't actually heard of anyone sending a drive wrapped in
bubblewrap not getting a replacement.

I do wonder if it is more to do with the difficulty of getting the drive
out of the packaging, than the packaging itself...
