Hmmm !!!!

Another 'African-American' ( politically correct-speak for black or
negro ) on the national ballot !

I wonder how much of the 'brother vote' she siphons off ? While
Nobama continues to lie his way to the right, trying to pick up
independents, and distancing himself from 'hard core blacks', now they
have a place to go, vote wise !

Plus Nader's running, he's always good for a few laughs, and a few
hundred thousand votes off the Dems.

Rasmussen has McCain and Nobama in a dead tie today.

That seems like an odd move for you. We all know NC's going R
unless there's an overwhelming victory for D, in which case NC's
electoral votes won't matter, so what would be the point of that?
(Why do we pay for elections anyway? :)

Seriously, I'm almost certainly going to vote for Bob Barr, even
though I think he'd be a poor president, because:
1) he's unlikely to win regardless of how I vote, so I don't
have to worry about accidentally helping someone with whom I
disagree get elected; and more importantly
2) perhaps if politicians see that a sizeable bloc of us want
smaller and/or less intrusive government, they'll decide to
pander to -us- for our vote.

  Shrub and Oil

Author: geoff

It seems even though shrub is a lame duck, unpopular, he is going to do all
he can for big oil, holding a news conference saying big oil should be
allowed to drill in protected areas.

Record profits, drilling in protected areas, taking care of Iraqis by
pumping billions into that country even if the money can't be accounted for
. . .

. . . and all the little squeally CINO pigs will run around trying to cut
him slack.
