I think my scheduling officer is trying to permanently disable me,
Monday 8+ hours, tuesday 12+ hours, wednesday 10+ hours, thursday 10+
hours, and tomorrow don't look much better plus he knows I am light duty
which would include wire shelving but not laminated (particle board)
shelf units wednesday & thursday was laminated units tomorrow is a whole
house in wire shelves then go and help another installer do a 10 man ho
laminated unit oh well I guess some people have no consideration for
others.

PS. don't forget I didn't get paid for the time I was off for medical
leave, but remember I am salary employee, so guess who is getting
royally screwed.

That's not light duty, and you need to inform him of that, if you don't
follow the Drs. orders, you are only hurting yourself.

Your main job is to look after TED. This guy evidently doesn't care if
you get badly hurt. I think I'd ask him to define light duty.

Yes I returned with a light duty excuse, and it didn't seem to matter, I
am so discussed I have been seriously thinking all weekend about leaving
my job, and the worst part of that is I am thinking of leaving without
having a backup plan.

Ted, do you think that might be why they're doing this to you?

That's what happened to me after I went out on disability after breaking
my back. The boss was so mad that I messed up their perfect record for
injuries (especially coz it happened in a car accident while I was on
the clock, picking up office supplies) and caused their insurance to go
up that he made it very difficult for me to return to my job. They
wanted me to quit, so they made sure I was so miserable that I would
quit.

And that's just what I did. Without a back-up plan!

Ouch.

Can you go to the owner for a heart to heart talk about this?

Ted, what is wrong with employers who allow this type of behavior from
their workers to go on??? Don't they understand that without their
loyal dedicated employees, their business is nothing?!? As hard as it
is, don't do anything rash...
