We've got a weather system in out of Alaska that's dropped out
temperatures and brought wind and rain to the northwest. BRRRRR. A
thick socks and sweatshirt kind of day.

There are leaves all over the yards and streets and the smell of
fireplaces going all over town.

Time to think about carving pumpkins and wrapping up the gardens...

It's starting to make me really nervous how expensive everything is
getting. Gas prices were hard enough but it's starting to be a
struggle to buy groceries...and I'm *really* good about not buying pre-
packaged junk that's always more expensive. Even buying in bulk and
avoiding name brand items isn't helping much these days.
: (

We make everything from scratch and use a lot of cheaper items like
beans and rice....can't remember the last time I used a cut of beef,
but still the grocery bills are outrageous !

Anyway. Just wanted to vent, I guess.
