  ARGH! Irresponsible Parents! Long, sorry...

Just have to vent about a neighbor lady who recently moved in to the
neighborhood. She has three kids, age 4, 9 and 11, and she doesn't
watch them well, so it was already a worry.

They've got a trampoline that they set up in the front yard, rather
than in the back, so of course, every kid in the neighborhood wants to
spend all their time on it, and the mother made it clear to everyone
that they were free to use it any time they liked, whether her family
was home or not. G-r-e-a-t, huh? Not my idea of responsible
behavior, considering how many accidents happen on trampolines, but
what can you do?

I know, I'm a fuddy-duddy, but I told Alex that she wasn't to be on
that thing without some supervision and unless the owners were there
to invite her to use it, and to always inform me when she planned to
be over there.

  Grandson update...

He is holding his own for now... They are weaning him down from the
meds for pain but still keeping him sedated enough that he is not
aware of anything... If his condition continues as is, he will go
back to surgery tomorrow am to repair the shoulder & ankle more
permanently...
His mom & the rest of the family are adjusting to the shock & everyone
is a little calmer today... Thanks for those prayers & positive
thoughts... Please keep them coming...
