it's like anything else... not everybody takes it to an extreme so
that it takes over their life... deep inside they know it's bogus.

`We come now to the idea of the Gaeia Universe, where the whole of the Universe would be a single living entity of which all mankind is barely an organelle. They never seem to understand how absurd it looks to someone who's not
a member of their own religion.
God believers, it really is this simple:
I don't believe your gods exist. Just try to use your imagination for
a moment, and I'll attempt to explain to you how it sounds to us. When
you try to tell me that your holy books are "proof" of something,
imagine that I'm trying to get you to "believe" in Goku using my
Dragonball Z DVDs as proof. When a document is *part* of the mythos,
it has no impact upon someone *outside* the mythos.
Your religion is *not* important to somone who does not share it. It
really is that simple.

Are you willing to admit your faith in that, or are you ashamed
to as the vast majority of strong atheists appear to be?

because it's like saying to someone that he/she must believe in
Goku by handing them a Dragonball Z DVD as proof...

you go through some motions that mimic rational approach but in
the end what may be deduced through logic will get discarded in
favor of Divine Revelation, which cannot be questioned...

It's not like that in any way.
