  Thru The Gate

Author: Frank
Date: Jul 21, 2008 22:39

For those who realize that Christ himself
is the gate to eternal life:
What must you do to go thru the gate?
This is what to do:
Transfer all your trust from all else
that you are trusting in for salvation,
and place that trust on only Christ.
What would cause you to do that?
This is what:
Realize that Christ on the cross became
your entire righteousness for salvation.
Christ is righteous for us.
That is what Protestants
originally believed and what some still do.
Who you put your trust on for salvation
makes all the difference.
Not on yourself:
not your repentance, commitment,
surrender, obedience, service, giving,
efforts, good works, sacrifice, ...

Author: 1st Century Apostolic Traditionalist
Date: Jul 21, 2008 12:29

Congratulations! to those readers who have resolutely continued with the
Daily Reading for the last six months. For they have now read half the Old
Testament, and ALL of the New.
May God bless your continued effort and dedication.

Bible Readings for Today
2 Samuel 6
Jeremiah 11
Matthew 22

For those who want to go directly to the source of this study guide,
it can be found at http://www.antipas.org/readings/readings.html

It takes normally between 20-30 mins per day depending on one's reading
speed.
It will be found many unanswered questions which may have seemed puzzling
and "Hard to be understood" are slowly and precisely answered as the Bible
is methodically read through day after day.

Here is a helpful link for anyone who either does not have a Bible to
hand, or might prefer reading from their computer, or might want to compare
different translations, or even read non-English versions:

  Teaching "Dear God,..." February, 1981

Author: syydnay
Date: Jul 20, 2008 19:32

This Teaching says,
" I want You to know that I understand the life
you have given me is but a mere taste of the
life that awaits me when I no longer walk
the world as man."

TEACHING DELIVERED THROUGH FRANCES M. KLUG
ON FEBRUARY, 1981

"Dear God,

I have come to a decision. I know if I continue
on in the way I think, in the action I take, and in the
lack of humility I express in Your Name, in Your Way,
and to my fellow man, I will not attain the Goal You
have asked me to seek.

I know that there will be many times I will find
it easier to delay, to procrastinate, or to favor the wrong
way, but I plead with You and I beseech You to never
allow me to stray.

Adam and Eve did not disobey and 'fall' - Christianity is wrong

Author: Carl Sagan's billions
Date: Jul 18, 2008 22:22

When I was in my younger years I struggled for a long time trying
to understand Christianity, God, Jesus, Satan, Genesis, etc.

I struggled mightily trying to come to grips with the basic doctrines,
the core beliefs, the philosophies, the essence, the teachings,
as well as the contradictions in Old versus New Testament.

And the behavior of warrior so-called Christian nations, colonizing
or wreaking havoc in non-Christian countries (and now again
conducting horrible bombing wars on non-Christian people
in Afghanistan, Iraq and Somalia).

And the Genesis creation story, Adam and Eve the first couple, Noah,
the flood, the many prophets, the Messiah, the crucifixion, the
resurrection, revelations, and the many stories and prophecies
in the Bible.

Then very slowly (over maybe some 5 years) I came to understand
and accept several truths described below. These truths enabled me
to gradually throw off the yoke, the blinders and the intellectual
shackles imposed by a long childhood indoctrination in Christianity.

And amazingly but steadily and happily (and also irreversibly)
I BECAME FREE ----- FOREVER ------!
