I heard something once that kind of makes sense to me... I was told a broken
bone grows back stronger than the original. So maybe we had/have to "do it"
just to know what it is that's really not worth doing? Seems like a tragedy
in time, and it is I guess, but perhaps only from our currently limited
perspective. Maybe someday we'll be able to look back and see the whole
thing as a just a silly little "mistake" that really wasn't a mistake at
all, but just had to be. It's like your dad saying, don't touch that
stovetop, it's hot. We touch it just to experience it and know what it is we
shouldn't be touching. Only some of us "touch it" more than others I guess.

What really disturbs me is how come Bluto never figures out that
eating spinach is what makes Popeye strong. What would happen if
Bluto ever decided to eat spinach? That could be the end of Popeye,
and then Lord knows what would happen to Olive Oyl and Swee'Pea!!
I also worry about Tweety a lot. That puddy tat can't stay stupid
forever! No Tweety!! No!!!!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is monumentally disturbed by
cartoon characters, fairy tales, and really transparent scams! Whew!
