He seems to feel the course (and "innocent people") are being
attacked and need defense. Which is attacking them back MORE than he
sees them attacking.
He has justified this by using the course quote "attack is never
justified"....
All we can really do, if anything, is deal with it in our own
mind(s) How someone else "seems to be" on a computer monitor.
